The Joy of Giving

Starting on May 1 at 8 am, for 36 hours, NHCCC is partnering with The Community Foundation in The Great Give, a fundraising event benefitting local nonprofits. During these 36 hours, generous sponsors are funding prizes to encourage more people to give. Many prizes reward participation, which means, the more people who give, regardless of the amount, the better chance we have at receiving these prizes. Help us by spreading the word and donating on our Great Give Page. Thanks to all our advanced donors and our anonymous matching fund for the support of the Arts in the AAPI Community, we are off to a great start. Your support will help us with operation cost, equipment, and recruitment of more musicians, so we can take our music on the road to share with communities around Connecticut! Be sure to follow us on our Facebook and come cheers us on in our May performances：

• 5/5: We are bringing our spring program to Whitney Center. We are featuring songs about all different kinds of flowers (orchid, jasmine, roses, peach blossoms…).

• 5/11: We are invited to perform on the big stage at the ArtWalk in Westville. This is an open event, so be sure to come support us in Edgewood Park. We will be adding some songs that feature animals (grasshoppers, roosters, ducks, horses, goldfish…)

• 5/17: Another outdoor open event that we are very excited about is the New Haven Night Market. A full set about flora and fauna, a drinking song, a percussion battle, we can’t wait!
