Dear Friends of NHCCC,
Thank you for coming to our Open House Event! Pictures are available on our Facebook page. Now we have launched, our mission is to bring the sound of Chinese and Taiwanese music to all corners of Connecticut. To help us get to as many places as possible, please support us (here). This month, our musicians are ringing in the Year of Dragon with two more free Lunar New Year events open to everyone with RSVP.
“Experience Chinese Music with NHCCC” - sponsored by Hopkins School as a part of Hopkins Lunar New Year Celebration Series. We will be playing some New Year favorites, various ensemble pieces, and a dance by our very own pipa player. This is an interactive musical experience. So be ready to be “Wowed”!

Cost: Free with RSVP
“Lunar New Year Celebration" at Wethersfield Community Center. We are playing at 5 pm, but feel free to go earlier to enjoy food, crafts, and live performances.

We just got three new instruments: 揚琴 yangqin, 大阮 daruan, and 柳琴 liuqin. Come visit us at rehearsal and you’ll see them in action

We performed at Hamden Hall Country Day School as part of their Lunar New Year Assembly. It was such a fun experience playing traditional Chinese music in the high school gym!
